Interpret The Meaning Of Your Dream 'Movies' Without A Dream Dictionary.
Learn how to easily interpret the meaning of dreams without a dream dictionary. Once you understand how your unconscious mind is trying to communicate with you, you will see that your dreams are not meaningless or nonsense. Your dreams have everything to do with your life today. They can give you valuable insights about your current experiences and your future.
This article will give you all the tools you really need to make a difference in your life. Dreams are not mysterious like most people think. Even though this information not complicated, it goes contrary to popular beliefs. That's why it's a good idea to read it carefully and several times if you have to. Once you understand how dreams work and these basic concepts, it's easy to master my simple technique that you can learn in minutes. Best of all this dream interpretation method is free and you can keep the nature of your dreams private in case they are embarrassing to talk about.
It's Easy To Interpret Your Dreams When You Understand How Everyone Dreams.
Dream interpretation is easy when you understand the mind and how it works while we're asleep. When we sleep our body rests but our mind doesn't. It never rests. It can't! Our unconscious mind thinks, sees, feels, touches, tastes, and smells. While we're sleeping, our dreams are very 'real'. It's only when we wake up that we realize our dreams were not real.
So we have two types of reality. We have a type of reality while we dream and a reality when we're awake. The commonality is that our unconscious mind never shuts down. After all, our unconscious mind or brain automatically regulates all our bodies functions while we sleep and while we're awake. If it accidentally turned off for more than a few minutes, our physical body would die!
What Dreams Are About.
Dreams can be about the past or the future, but most of the time, dreams are about the present. They're about what is happening your life right now. During the day our mind does a lot of self talk. We face problems, challenges, disappointments, disagreements, failures, as well as happy times and successes. During the night, our mind processes all this information and feeds it back to us in a creative new way. These 'visions' or dreams, give us a whole new perspective on our life.
Ironically even though our unconscious mind is trying to communicate with us, the message it gives appears to be unrelated or nonsense most of the time. Dreams only make sense when we understand that the unconscious mind is painting a picture for us, like an artist would paint a picture of their world, or a musician would paint a picture of how they feel using sounds.
Once you learn to interpret your dreams you'll be astounded at how brilliant and creative your mind really is. Your mind is the same when you're awake and when you're sleeping, except when you're asleep your conscious mind is taking a nap. Without interference from your conscious, analytic mind, the true creative nature of your being is expressed in the form of dreams.
Dream Symbols, Metaphors, And Riddles. What Do Dreams Mean?
Most people think that their dreams have no meaning because they can seem crazy and far removed from reality. This is not true. Even though it appears this way, the reality is that dreams communicate what's happening in our life right now. How can that be? Once you understand that dreams are about symbols, metaphors, and riddles, you can easily begin to interpret your dreams very accurately.
For example you might dream about someone you haven't seen in years and is no longer living. The logical explanation is that the dead person is trying to communicate with you. While it's possible, it's more likely that you're dreaming about that person because there's someone else in our life right now that reminds of someone you haven't seen in a long time. Perhaps their personalities or viewpoints are similar. Or perhaps they made you feel exactly like someone you're dealing with now.
Can Anyone Interpret Your Dreams Correctly?
Dreams are customized for each person. Your dreams are uniquely yours. Other people might have similar dreams but the meaning might be radically different. That's why you are the best person to accurately interpret your own dreams. A facilitator, friend, or relative can help if they know you well and ask the right questions. By intimately understanding your beliefs, perceptions, likes, dislikes, emotions, etc. ... other people can make educated guess about what your dreams are about, but it's best if you learn a technique for interpreting your own dreams. The technique is simple and easy to do. It's free and all it takes is some of your time.
Isn't It Easier To Understand Dreams Using a Dream Dictionary?
It might be easier to use a dream dictionary but you'll never be sure or convinced as to what your dreams mean until you've done your own analysis. When you've figured out a dream, all the pieces will fit and your dream or dreams will make perfect sense. Dream interpretation is like putting a jigsaw puzzle together. There's no sense of accomplishment until every last piece in place and you clearly see the entire picture without any gaps. If there's any question about what your dreams mean, it's likely that you've made the wrong interpretation or you're missing some aspects of what your unconscious mind is trying to say.
Dreams Can Be Interpreted In Many Different Ways. How Do You Know Which Meaning Is Correct?
You'll know when you've mastered the simple technique I've included with this article. Why? Because the method forces you to analyze who you are and what's happening in your life right now. For example, you might be deathly afraid of snakes. Your dream about snakes might be really be about hidden dangers in a new business deal you're considering or your dream may be about a poisonous and painful relationship you're currently dealing with. On the other hand if you love snakes, your dream will probably have an entirely different meaning. Instead of creating fear, your dream is likely to be positive or at least neutral.
Also my method requires you to integrate all the pieces or aspects of your dream at the same time. For example if your dream is about dogs and you love dogs, what have you learnt? Nothing until you consider all the other aspects of your dream and examine what's happening in your life at this time.
It's Ok If You Don't Understand The Meaning Of All Your Dreams. Here's Why.
Don't despair if you have trouble understanding one or two dreams. Why? Because if it's important, your mind will create many dreams that appear to be different, but they all have the same meaning. It's like being on a game show. You'll get many 'clues'. Your unconscious mind is constantly trying to get your attention and talk with you. It wants to be heard. So it gives you dreams. If you don't understand one dream, no big deal, it will give an entirely different dream that means exactly the same thing. This might happen several times in one night! It will keep doing this until you engage your unconscious mind and acknowledge that you understand.
What Does It Mean When You Have Same Dream Every Night?
Sometimes we get reoccurring dreams over and over again. This means that our unconscious energy field or mind is desperately trying to get our attention. Perhaps what you're doing during your waking state, is harming your body or causing emotional distress. Your dreams may be telling you to slow down, or take a different direction, or to be careful, ... You will continue to get these dreams until you understand the message and do something to change your life!
An Easy Technique For Interpreting Dreams.
- Write down your dreams in detail as soon as you get up, even if it's in the middle of the night. If you wait, you'll forget important details.
- Focus on each element of your dream one at a time. Focus on people, animals, places, things, feelings (were you scared, happy, sad, indifferent, ...) , focus on thoughts you had during the dream, ...
- At the top of the page write down one element of your dream. Under that right down what the element means to you only. Don't ask your friends or relatives. Only your perceptions are relevant. Dream dictionaries are also useless for this task. Your dreams are uniquely yours and the movies created by your mind are pictures of what you can easily understand. The same dream experienced by another person could have an entirely different meaning!
- Now rewrite you dream. It's time to put all the elements in your dream together. This time analyze your dream using the new words you've written down. What do these elements mean to you? What do the elements remind you of? How does each element make you feel? Most of the time the meaning of your dream will be immediately apparent. If not, you'll usually get your answer in a day or two. Or you get other dreams that convey the same message. If this happens you may notice a pattern to all your dreams. Even though they appear to be very different, they might mean exactly the same thing.
- Keep a dream journal. In your journal write down what happened to you the previous day. Write down your dreams. Keep track of all 'elements' in your dreams and write down what they mean to you. You will soon see what your dreams are trying to tell you.
Dream Interpretation Suggestions and Tips.
1. If you've done the above exercise and still have trouble with some dreams, keep a diary of daily events in your life, - not only the events but how you felt, your emotions, and your thoughts. Dreams are usually a 'mirror' of what's happening in your life right now.
2. Replay your day from start to finish before you go to sleep. Fast forward the entire day in a few seconds or minutes. This tells your unconscious mind that you remember what happened during the day. You're less likely to experience unimportant dreams when your mind knows you've already dealt with issues from the previous day. That way instead of focusing on trivial events in your life, your mind will focus on the really important issues while you sleep.
3. Whenever you have questions about anything, or you have important decisions to make, ask your unconscious mind for the answers while you sleep. That is, give your mind something to do while you sleep. Your mind will process your request while you sleep. Then when you awake, you'll have new dreams consider. These dreams are likely to contain the answers you need.
4. If you feel that you rarely dream or you can't remember dreams when you get up, it's still a good idea to ask your unconscious mind for answers to your questions or help with any area of your life. Do this immediately before you fall asleep. People who do this often get the answers and advice they need when they wake up, even if they don't remember specific dreams or any dreams at all.
5. Your unconscious mind communicates with you in terms of movies, pictures, words, sounds, and all the senses, however messages are symbolic. Symbols can be understood in many different ways. Once you put all the symbols together along with current issues in your life, you are more likely to accurately interpret your dreams.

Things to Consider When Discussing Dream Types.
Your dreams can be about almost anything or combinations of things. It's wise not to put dreams into neat little boxes, types, or categories. Dreams are not as black and white as we would like them to be. Dreams are not presented in a fashion that our conscious mind would find 'logical'. It's best to understand them from a symbolic perspective. They are windows or doorways into our unconscious mind, higher self, God, or whatever spiritual, unseen aspect of yourself that you might be comfortable with.
